How much does a driving range cost?
A small bucket of 30–50 balls usually runs $8–15, and a large bucket of 100 or more is $15–25. Ranges with Toptracer bays or heated stalls charge by the hour instead, typically $25–50 per bay for a group.
Do I need my own clubs to use a driving range?
No — nearly every range lends or rents clubs, often free with a bucket or a few dollars for a set. A driver and a mid iron are enough for a first session, so you can show up with nothing but golf shoes or trainers.
Are driving ranges open in winter?
Many are. Covered and heated bays stay open year-round in cold states, and indoor simulator centers run all winter. Outdoor grass-tee ranges usually close or switch to mats once the ground freezes — call ahead in the off-season.
